In 1955, used on 1st Series only. These Mustang II cross members are manufactured by Heidt's Hot Rod Shop, Inc. for specific applications. There is an economy or Deluxe version. The Deluxe kits have all of the welds fully ground for a beautiful finish or save $$$ with the Economy kit and grind it smooth yourself. These cross member kits are designed for frames and fenders which lend themselves nicely to Mustang front end conversions, without changing the critical geometry. These kits also come complete with the hard-to-make special brackets, such as radiator perchs on certain models, to quickly and easily complete the installation. And naturally, the Chevy kits do not bumpsteer at all. All kits come with a step-by-step, fully-illustrated instruction booklet to insure that your installation goes as easy as it should!
